With the lower barriers to the knowledge, the student can found the knowledge they want to study at any situation, which gives many acceptability to the students to help them succeed. If a student who taking the course in the school which he doesn’t have any opportunity of apply in their life, they will lack of the experience to implies these knowledge and further bring the outcomes where the study is inefficient. An innovation I want to discuss about is video. A website using video to conduct education is one of the important milestone for online and open learning. Such as Khan Academy, a simple video is enough to teach the student the key concept of math or other field of knowledge. Which lead the teaching activities can be conduct at anywhere that is convenience for the students. This innovation make the class more accessible and inclusive.
The shift from the traditional to digital, learner centred platform make the education more accessible, convenience to the to the learner. The digital platform provide more options to the students, which can contribute the education in any situations. An example is during the pandemic, when face to face class is not available due to its dangerous. The digital platform provided an option to let the education continue by making every students and instructor can participating safely and convenience. The digital platform can make further evolve by making the study more flexible. For example, a well designed online study can allow student to study at any time in their life. They can study a course when they doing the internship or actually in a job, the of combine of the study and working, will improve the use of the skill of student.
The Learning theory that I interested the most is constructivism. The learning technology is developing every day and many people are start to construct their mind order relate to the knowledge. The khan academy, and other online academic website which provide the instruction video, readings and practice questions, its a great tool to help the student to create the logic, pattern and the order in their brain regards to the concepts. Its accessible at any where and any time, easy to let student to building and refresh their order. There is many example from my own study experience. The fundamental build of my math & calculus concept has a large part is build from online study tool. I went to there to study, practice and refresh, makes my study more easier and comfortable.
The multimedia resources is always a great tool to study. Just like the information I talked about in previous paragraph. The videos, audio and admonitions, other interactive simulation is very accessible to improving my academic study. The example from my daily life is I can use these multimedia tool to study at anywhere, such as in a trip, in an flight or even at Hawaii hotel. I can study and enhance at any time and any where.
